MEET THE TEAM: KALLY

 From Dunedin New Zealand-sunny south island, then moved to Queenstown 

Lived in Queenstown for over 20 years-slid straight into hospo at 19 years old and worked several hotel and restaurant gigs to learn the trade

Big gig was 13 years as Restaurant and Functions manager at Gibbston Valley Wines- one of the first big winery tourism operations attracting 50,000 visitors a year at the time, award-winning Pinot Noir producers and also pioneers of the area,  owners planted first grapes in the early eighties in that area

 Johan and I had a market garden just out of Queenstown-called the Green Grocer- growing spray-free produce/ herbs for local restaurant’s and a roadside shop 

Moved to Phillip Island for the love of the ocean, surf, clean air and lifestyle, 10 years ago with her husband Johan and two children Oliver & Petra. Bought the Smiths Beach general store soon after which we operated successfully for 5 years.  

Been with PIW 2 years and love been part of the evolving vision 

Always up for a challenge and will try anything once
